Our Casualty Claims function is the largest department and plays a crucial role in delivering efficient, professional, and empathetic service to our Zurich Municipal customers.

Salary: up to £28,000 depending on experience

What will you be doing?
  • Customer Champion - Promptly handle and positively resolve all enquiries from customers and external contacts to deliver a focused and exceptional claims service.
  • Claims Resolution Expert - Review, resolve, and proactively finalize claims within your authority limits, ensuring optimal settlements with business implications in mind.
  • Productivity Booster - Maximize productivity and profitability within the team.
  • Team Player - Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture, making teamwork enjoyable and effective.
What are we looking for?
  • Insurance Claims Experience is preferable, however strong customer service experience is highly desirable, and we can teach you the rest.
  • Experience in promptly handling and resolving queries with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proactive Claims Handler - Ability to review, resolve, and finalise claims proactively within authority limits.
  • Team Collaboration - working within a team, managing varying workloads and pressures.
  • Customer Service Excellence - A track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent Communicator - Strong communication skills to connect with customers and team members effectively.
  • Negotiation Skills - Effective negotiation skills to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Mentor and Motivator - Ability to coach, motivate, and develop others where appropriate.
  • Personal Development – Industry qualifications via the CII desirable but not essential.
