The Role:

We are delighted to work with SSE and business growth means that we have vacancies for operatives, to safely undertake civil excavation works, in a way that mitigates health and safety risks, as well as meeting contract targets.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with NRSWA and client specifications.
  • Ensure all interactions with colleagues, customers and members of the public are polite and professional, minimising the need to escalation.
  • Compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and take responsibility for the quality of work undertaken.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all information related to completed and active jobs.
  • Carry out activities in accordance with the RAMS and highlight/escalate deviations.
  • Cooperate in any incident, accident or damage investigation.
Qualifications
  • Full and valid driving licence.
  • CSCS and / or EUSR card.
  • Experience working in the utilities industry including safe excavation.
  • Good appreciation for high standards of work and safe working practices.
  • Relevant plant tickets such as dumper, telehandler etc.
