A leading UK grounds maintenance company is seeking an Estimator to prepare competitive estimates for de-vegetation and minor civils projects. The role involves analyzing tender documents and managing client relationships, requiring strong estimating experience and excellent analytical skills. Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for de-vegetation and minor civils projects, analysing tender documents, and producing supporting cost information. You’ll liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather quotations, provide commercial insight, and support business development activities. Working closely with operational teams, you’ll ensure estimates are practical, provide smooth handovers after contract awards, and assist with cost planning and project performance reviews. This requires strong experience in estimating across vegetation management or civils sectors, excellent numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to interpret technical documentation while building effective client and supplier relationships.
