Job summary

A multi-disciplinary consultancy in Nottingham is seeking a Civil Technician to join their growing team. You will work under the supervision of a senior technician to prepare detailed drawings for drainage and highway schemes. Ideal candidates are junior-level with some experience in consulting engineering, and an interest in supporting team development. Training in Civil 3D will be provided.

Overview

Think Recruitment are currently working with a multi-disciplinary consultancy who are going through some exciting changes within their business and so are looking to grow their team with the addition on a Civil Technician.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a senior technician, prepare general arrangement and detailed drawings for private and adopted drainage schemes, adopted highways, private external works schemes, drainage details, manhole details, manhole schedules and drainage attenuation systems.

Qualifications / Experience

• Junior level candidates with some previous experience of working within consulting engineers will be considered.
• Experience of Civil 3D would be beneficial but not essential; full training can be provided.
• Interest in supporting junior team members with qualifications, including day release for those currently studying.
