A leading infrastructure services provider in the UK is looking for an experienced individual to lead civils work across water utility companies. This role includes responsibilities such as excavation, chamber installation, and ensuring safety compliance while working on water distribution infrastructure. Candidates must have a UK driving license, CSCS Card, and experience in the highway sector. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services. We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
You'll be responsible for leading or supporting minor civils work across various water utility companies' water distribution infrastructure. A typical day will include a mixture of excavation, chamber installation, ducting, flow meter installation/replacement, and pillar and post installs. You will assess hazards, determine risks, and promote a high level of safety. This will include all elements of Civils work, from breaking out through to installation and full reinstatement.
