Overview

The salary for this role is £12.40 per hour. The festive season at Boots is a busy and exciting time, and our store teams are at the heart of delivering a memorable shopping experience for customers. As a Christmas Customer Assistant, you’ll greet customers with a smile, offer product and gift advice, and help create a positive experience that customers return for all year round.

This is a temporary contract with potential for a permanent role in the future depending on local opportunities.

About the role

You will work in a Boots store and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your responsibilities include:

• Customer Interaction: Offer thoughtful advice, recommend products and highlight offers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Till Operation: Wrap up purchases at the counter or support self-checkout systems with energy and efficiency.
• Stock Management: Keep shelves full so customers can find what they need during the busy season.
• Store Presentation: Ensure every area looks its best.
• Online order support: You may assist with deliveries, picking and packing for online orders as needed.
