Responsibilities and duties of the CHP Engineer

Reporting to the Senior Service Coordinator you will :

Perform field-based maintenance including reactive and scheduled service maintenance on Combined Heat and Power assets.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Deliver a high standard of customer service through clear communication, timely issue resolution, and a customer-focused approach.

Identify, repair, and replace defective components as necessary to ensure continued system operation.

Respond to call outs on a 1 in 4 weekend basis.

Other duties as required

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following :

Previous experience performing electrical or mechanical maintenance on combustion engines ideally in power generation, or industrial processing environment.

A Gas safe qualification is desirable.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
