A leading recruitment agency in Eastleigh is seeking a Chinook / Apache Technician / Supervisor for a 6-month contract. Location & Duration

Middle Wallop – 6 Months

What We Are Looking For
  • 5 Mechanical Supervisors
  • 2 Avionic Supervisors
  • 10 Mechanical Technicians
  • 3 Avionic Technicians

Successful candidates will have experience on Chinook or Apache airframes; rotary experience considered.

Job Type

Technician – part of an MRO organisation.

Supervisor Role

Reporting to an Operations Lead, the Supervisor provides direct control, oversight and mentorship of technicians. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance activities, ensuring paperwork certification, holding supervisory authorisations, and promoting airmanship and H&S practices.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent trade training.
  • Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance processes (Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health & safety COSHH).
  • Experience in commercial or defence considered.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver aircraft maintenance under Boeing MAA MRP Part 145 or MOD customer approval.
  • Assembly, disassembly, modification or repair of aircraft systems/structures/electronics/components; upgrade aerospace components to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting of complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical/electronic) to isolate faults and repair faulty components IAW authorised maintenance documents.
  • Be flexible with work locations and times to ensure aircraft are delivered on time to the customer.
