Job description

We re Hiring Residential Support Workers (Children s Services) on a perm basis

(No sponsorship available)

Social Care Recruitment are seeking compassionate, resilient and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team supporting children and young people aged with emotional/behavioural needs.

X3 night shifts per week (36 hours total)

20:00 - 08:00 + ability to pick up extra shifts

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent emotional, practical and behavioural support
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing and positive environment
  • Promote independence through structured routines and life skills coaching
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
  • Support individuals with challenging behaviours, trauma and complex needs
  • Participate in in-house and community-based activities
  • Work collaboratively as part of a committed, child-focused team
  • Follow safeguarding principles and Children s Home Regulations (Ofsted)
What We’re Looking For
  • Full-time availability (Essential)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Essential)
  • Minimum 6 months UK social care experience (children or adults)
  • A proactive, resilient and confident approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred can be arranged if needed)
  • Willing to be put on the Level 3 Residential Course and complete training provided by the company
