Overview

Dougie Mac are currently looking to recruit Children’s Nurses who share our passion in providing excellent, personalised and compassionate care to children, young people and their families. At Dougie Mac Children’s Hospice, our vision is to be admired as a centre of excellence for delivering nurse-led care to children and young people living with palliative and complex care needs and at the end of life. Our focus on holistic, needs-led care delivery supports children and young people, their families and carers, with physical, emotional, social, psychological and spiritual care, at home, in the community and at the Hospice.

The right candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, a motivation for continual learning and sharing of knowledge, with the drive to ensure our children, young people and families receive the highest possible standard of care. You will work as a member of the Care Team providing support to children and young people with life-limiting/life-threatening and often complex care needs. This role will be full time/part time, with flexibility to cover 24/7 periods.
