Job description
Overview

Registered Children's Manager required to oversee the care and support of children within our home near Arundel. This home provides a safe, therapeutic environment for 5 young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health conditions, and complex trauma histories. Their time at the home marks a crucial stage in their journey, where intensive, bespoke therapeutic care supports recovery from trauma. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment where healing, stability, and personal growth can flourish. You will play a vital role in managing the team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a nurturing environment for all residents. The current RM is retiring and will be around to do a full handover and induction with the replacement Manager.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the home through Ofsted inspections, striving for a rating of "Good" or "Outstanding".
About You
  • Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management - Children and Young People Qualification, or the willingness to complete quickly.
  • Significant experience working in a children's residential care setting, including in a leadership role.
  • A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding practices, and children's home legislation.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver outstanding care.
