Leaders in Care are currently working with a highly regarded local authority in the Southwest of England to recruit experienced Children’s Social Workers to join a fast-paced, supportive Child Protection team. The role offers a competitive pay rate of £42 per hour, topped up with our exclusive Leaders in Care bonus.

With this council, caseloads are evenly split to ensure they are manageable, and you will be supported by a long-standing management structure, providing a stable and stress-free working environment.

The role involves handling child in need cases, ongoing care proceedings, conducting assessments, and making informed decisions about appropriate interventions to support children and families. Experience in child protection and court work is desirable but not mandatory.

This is a statutory role, requiring a social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
