👨👩👧 Job Title: Child & Family Advanced Practitioner

📍 Location: Stroud Social Care Locality Office, GL5 4AE

📝 Contract Type: Temporary

⏱️ Hours: 37 per week

💷 Pay Rate: £42.00 per hour

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children & Families Team in Stroud as an Advanced Practitioner. This is a key role where you'll help shape exceptional services for children, adolescents, and families across Gloucestershire.

As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:

  • 👦 Create the best outcomes for children and adolescents with complex needs
  • 📂 Hold a protected caseload, focusing on high-quality and impactful work
  • 🚀 Provide leadership around quality assurance, practice improvement, and performance support
  • 🤝 Work closely with your team to embed strong, consistent practice
  • 🔍 Support risk management and decision-making across complex cases

Working Style

  • 👀 All children and adolescents are seen face to face unless COVID-confirmed
  • 🤝 Expectation to be in the office more during the early stages to build team cohesion and stability
