The business has experienced significant success to date, with recent investment they are entering their most ambitious growth phase and are now seeking to appoint an exceptional Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to their senior leadership team who will shape the commercial future of the business.

The Role

The CRO will integrate all revenue-generating functions – including sales, trading commercialisation, origination, marketing, partnerships, and customer success – into a seamless growth engine. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will:

  • Drive enterprise sales performance and market expansion across the UK and Europe.
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies for new territories and customer segments.
  • Negotiate strategic partnerships that accelerate adoption and strengthen market share.
  • Align commercial and trading pipelines, ensuring risk and compliance are well managed.
  • Lead a high-performing team across sales, marketing, account management, and trading operations.
  • Harness data, analytics, and AI to create a metrics-driven, scalable commercial model.

  • Proven senior leadership experience (CRO, CCO, Commercial/Sales Director or equivalent) in a high-growth energy or technology business.
  • A track record of scaling integrated revenue operations and aligning sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in enterprise sales, customer success, and account-based growth strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of the energy and clean technology sector, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Passion for customer success and commitment to accelerating the transition to renewables.
