A prominent NHS Trust in Bury St Edmunds seeks a Chief Finance Officer to lead financial management and strategic development. The CFO will drive financial accountability and ensure compliance while being pivotal in overseeing the construction of a new healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to enhancing patient care delivery.
As we look to the future, we are excited to be making progress in our plans to build a new health and care campus for West Suffolk, co-producing these plans with staff, stakeholders and partners. Our new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal leadership role in this development as we design and deliver a new healthcare facility for our population.
The CFO will be the executive lead the resourcing, leadership, support and development of the finance team, and the ongoing development of the financial framework and controls for the organisation, that supports the financial viability of the Trust and enables clinical and non-clinical services to be delivered within clearly agreed parameters in line with statutory financial requirements.
Together with other executive members of the Board of Directors, the CFO will demonstrate inspirational and compassionate leadership to the entire workforce, ensuring that staff, and volunteers are supported and motivated to provide the safest and best patient care, and are at the heart of quality improvement and organisational development.
