An Good secondary school in Greenwich is looking for a qualified Chemistry Teacher to join their school on a full-time maternity contract for a year starting in September 2025.
The Role
In this role, you will be teaching General Science and Chemistry KS3 – KS5. You will join a supportive and dynamic Science Department which benefits from the school’s Mathematics & Science Specialism with 15 modern and well-equipped laboratories. Computers in multiple laboratories and mobile wireless laptops with data-logging facilities place the Science Department at the cutting edge of science information technology.
At Key Stage 3, pupils are given a solid foundation in the Science National Curriculum, which is developed further at GCSE, including options for Separate Sciences. Many students take Biology, Chemistry, Physics at 'A' Level, achieving above-average grades. The school also offers a BTEC in applied science, which you will be involved in teaching.
