• Experience in a restaurant environment is essential.
• Must be adaptable to changing circumstances and customer demands.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee all food preparation to the highest standard.
• Produce food timely for smooth service.
• Train and develop a team of up to 21 members.
• Ensure availability of all ingredients for the menu.
• Develop and plan menus to client expectations.
• Maintain food quality and hygiene standards.
• Manage kitchen team for up to 400 daily covers.
• Provide performance feedback and coaching.

Salary: £43,000 per annum

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, between 7am and 3pm

Key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
• To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
• Responsible for overall training and development of up to 21 team members
• To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
• To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
• To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
• Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
• Overall responsibility for managing the kitchen team in delivering up to 400 covers on daily basis
• Provide feedback and coaching on performance
• To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training
