Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals to a high standard in various environments.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Follow all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Assist with stock control and ordering as necessary.

Job Opportunity: Casual Chef de Partie (CDP) – Enhanced DBS Required

Location: Various Locations (Agency Chef)

Rate: £16.32 per hour – £21.88 (dependent on the role being covered)

Contract Type: Casual / Flexible Hours

Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced Chef de Partie with a passion for fresh food and flexible working? We’re currently seeking a talented and reliable CDP to join our casual team, working across various sites including schools, care homes, and event venues. An Enhanced DBS check is essential for this role due to working in sensitive environments.

What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen role
  • Valid Enhanced DBS certificate (or willing to obtain one before joining)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Flexibility to work different shifts (weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings)
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
