Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Excellence; Deliver highly specialised assessment, treatment, and risk management in an elderly care setting.
  • Leadership and Supervision; Supervise band 5 and HCSWs. Act as Senior Nurse in Charge in absence of the SCN. Act as clinical educator for students fostering a learning environment.
  • Multidisciplinary Working; Form an integral part of the MDT, contributing to comprehensive geriatric assessments and planning timely, safe discharges.
  • Service Development; Participate in quality improvement projects and clinical governance services.

Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. If the post is assessed as a regulated role, your appointment will be subject to the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. Confirmation will be provided by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team.
