About the Role

SCALE: Scale 5, Starting at £18,842

CONTRACT: Permanent, term time only at 39 weeks

HOURS PW: 24 hours – 07:00 – 13:00, Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities

As the Catering Supervisor, you will be hands‑on working alongside the Head Chef Lecturer and students – coordinating daily food production and service, ensuring the smooth running of a busy commercial catering college kitchen. You will be confident managing volume, pressure, maintaining professional standards, and balancing the immediate demands of the current lunch service with proactive mise en place preparation for next day’s lunch.

Working closely with the Chef Lecturer, you will support students in live training environments – role‑modeling industry excellence, guiding developing chefs, and helping deliver high‑quality dishes efficiently and consistently.
