A local health foundation in Prestwich is seeking a catering team member to work 15 hours per week. Responsibilities include providing customer-focused service, preparing food, and adhering to hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Level 2 food hygiene certificate and have the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends. We are looking to add to our great catering team to work across various sites within the trust. The role will be 15 hours per week, working a range of shifts from 06:00 to 19:00, five days over seven (including weekends). The successful candidate will be a great team player working in our kitchens and service points, who is capable of helping the teams to continue delivering a fantastic food service to our service users within the units. They will be a great communicator and have the ability to think on their feet. Candidates will be expected to have or to be able to gain at least a level 2 food hygiene level of knowledge. The role will include basic kitchen duties as well as assisting in food service to our service users. The role will be based at the Catering Prestwich unit, however you will be required to support other units. Please note – this role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and have held continuously a Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
Minimum of a Level 2 food hygiene certificate or ability to gain it. Ability to stand for periods, move and lift goods and food stuffs. Ability to work a flexible shift pattern, including weekends.
