Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time, Term Time

Salary: £6,1023

Hours: 10 hours (Monday - Friday 11am- 1pm)

Location: Allans Nursery School

A vacancy has occurred for a catering assistant who is motivated, interested and takes pride in ensuring that a high standard of food preparation and service is maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food and perform basic cooking
  • Provide food service and maintain kitchen hygiene
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act and subsequent legislation
  • Engage in health and safety practices and maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • On the job training and compulsory off job training will be provided
  • You will be initially based at one location but may be required to move location with appropriate notice as the service requires
Qualifications and Requirements
  • The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children
  • If your application progresses after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified
  • Experience in Catering is not essential
