Hours: 10 hours (Monday - Friday 11am- 1pm)
Location: Allans Nursery School
A vacancy has occurred for a catering assistant who is motivated, interested and takes pride in ensuring that a high standard of food preparation and service is maintained.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food and perform basic cooking
- Provide food service and maintain kitchen hygiene
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act and subsequent legislation
- Engage in health and safety practices and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- On the job training and compulsory off job training will be provided
- You will be initially based at one location but may be required to move location with appropriate notice as the service requires
Qualifications and Requirements
- The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children

- Experience in Catering is not essential
