Overview

Here at GXO, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Catering Assistant to join our team in Swindon (SN5). You will be working Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day, varying between 8:00am – 3:00pm.

An hourly rate of £12.64.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to serve customers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Serve customers at counters and/or dining areas
  • Fill and maintain vending machines as required
  • Prepare sandwiches and assist with other basic food preparation
  • Carry out general cleaning and kitchen duties, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met
  • Support the catering team with any other duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
  • An understanding of food safety standards (HACCP)
  • Flexible in your approach – there may be an opportunity for overtime
  • Excellent customer service skills
