Category Buyer (PC Parts / Components)

£38,000 - £40,000 + Progression + 25 Days Holiday + Benefits

Ellesmere Port, Cheshire

Are you a Buyer, Purchaser, Procurement Specialist or similar from a PC Parts / Components background looking for an office based, senior position that grants responsibility over strategic partnerships?

In this role you will own the buying process from negotiation to expediting orders. You'll be responsible for owning the relationship with suppliers, identifying new opportunities for cost savings and having overall autonomy to act on market intelligence. This is a great role for someone from this sector to take a step up and have more responsibility.

This business is rapidly growing off the back of recent success and are ramping up procurement into the new year. They have carved out a profitable niche, providing enterprise clients a full 360 package of hardware and software.

The Role:
  • Full ownership of the buying process, from negotiation to expediting orders
  • Responsibility to handle decisions on your own and keep up with market intelligence
  • Autonomy to seek out different suppliers and make a real impact
  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The Person:
  • Buyer, Purchaser, Procurement Specialist or similar
  • PC Parts, Computer Components or IT Hardware background
  • Experience in negotiating, cost savings, and supplier relationship management
