Essential Criteria

• Must hold your own Level 2 NVQ in Carpentry.
• Experience of delivering vocational training, or on-the-job training to colleagues / Apprentices.
• Willingness to work towards PTLLS / AET - fully funded and supported by employer.
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Carpentry.
• Confident with deliveringtraining / workshops to groups of learners.

Must be IT Literate. Duties include

• Teach / assess learners working towards a Level 2 vocational qualification in Carpentry within a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learners'skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
