We are looking for a skilled carpenter to join our construction team in Surrey, BC. The role involves reading blueprints, installing foundations, framing walls, and fitting windows, doors, and stairs. The position is permanent, full‑time, and requires an on‑site presence with no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Schedule and co‑ordinate work on sites
• Supervise other workers

Qualifications

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience in construction, carpentry or related field is an asset
• Strong knowledge of reading blueprints and construction drawings
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Location

Surrey, BC V3V 6Z5 – work must be completed on site

Compensation

$40.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
