A warm and welcoming family based in Mayford, near Woking, is seeking a kind, capable, and confident part time carer housekeeper to support their 78-year-old mother-in-law, who will soon be moving into their home. This is a daily role, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm, ideal for someone with previous experience in a similar position and a genuine passion for elderly care and companionship.

The mother-in-law has dementia, so the family is looking for someone who is upbeat, physically fit, and patient, with a calm, proactive approach and a natural ability to make practical day-to-day decisions.

This carer housekeeper role near Woking offers a wonderful opportunity to support an elderly lady in a stable, caring household while also contributing to the smooth running of the home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing kind, respectful personal care and companionship
  • Assisting with dressing, hygiene, and medication reminders

Requirements

  • Confident driver with a clean licence (preferred for outings and appointments)
  • Right to work in the UK and excellent references
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
