We are seeking an experienced Careers Adviser to join our team on a one‑day‑per‑week basis. This role is essential in supporting our students' progression and providing high-quality, impartial careers guidance. The position is required until Easter, with a strong possibility of extension through the summer term.
Deliver impartial, personalised careers advice through one‑to‑one guidance sessions and engaging group workshops.
Accurately record all guidance interactions and agreed actions using Unifrog, ensuring data integrity and up‑to‑date records.
Provide targeted support for students exploring post‑16 and post‑18 pathways, including making referrals for those with additional needs (e.g., SEND).
Track, monitor and report on student aspirations and progression to inform whole‑school strategic planning.
Build strong relationships with families by engaging parents and carers, including attending parents' evenings.
Represent the careers team at key school events, such as parents' evenings, results days and enrolment days, offering expert careers support.
Diploma in Careers Guidance or Level 6 Qualification in Careers Guidance (required).
