Our support, advice and training enables people and their families build skills, develop confidence, help each other and look forward to a more positive future.
We\'re on the lookout for someone with great resilience to become a valuable part of our team. Our SEN Care support workers play a pivotal role in supporting our students in their day-to-day lives, which can range from attending college lessons to participating in sports sessions, therapy sessions, and even gardening activities.
Now, the idea of working on weekends might not initially sound too enticing, but when you support our students during the weekends, it\'s far from just \'work.\' While you may still be engaged in your usual work-related tasks, our students enjoy going out and having a good time! You could find yourself at the swimming pool, heading to the local pub for a pint and a game of pool, or enjoying a pizza night in the houses. The possibilities truly are endless.
In terms of qualifications and experience, worry not, as prior experience is not essential for this position. We offer comprehensive training and development opportunities, along with a clear path for career progression. We firmly believe that working in care isn\'t just a job; it\'s a fulfilling career driven by passion and dedication. So, if you\'re ready to embark on this rewarding journey with us, we welcome you to apply and start or develop your career in social care with Henshaws!
