Overview

Care Support Worker (complex care) – The Client provides a high-quality service to 99 residents across 6 specialised units requiring effective, varying complex care as well as providing a comfortable and safe environment.

About the role

This position would suit an experienced Care Support Worker that is currently working within a Care Home setting or NHS / Private Hospital. Reporting to the Care Home Manager you will be part of a quality care team contributing to making a real difference to people’s lives.

Duties
  • Supporting residents with social & physical activities
  • Helping with personal care (showering, dressing etc)
  • Supporting residents with eating & drinking etc
Skills and Experience / Qualifications
  • Complex Care Experience Essential
  • NVQ Level 2 in health and social care or willing to work towards this
  • Caring and Positive attitude
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Good communication skills

Salary & Working Week

Salary: £10.20 per hour

Working Week:

  • Nights – Week 1: 3 days, 19:45 to 07:45; Week 2: 4 days, 19:45 to 07:45 (Total average per week – 42 hours, including every other weekend)
  • Days – Week 1: 3 days, 07:45 to 19:45; Week 2: 4 days, 07:45 to 19:45 (Total average per week – 42 hours, including every other weekend)

We work a rolling rota with three shifts one week and four the next, having every second weekend off.
