Overview

Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of others? Step into a rewarding role as a Care Practitioner at Telford Hall Care Home, where we prioritize excellence in care, comfort, and professional growth. We are a modern, 66-bed nursing home offering outstanding facilities and specializing in nursing, palliative, and dementia care.

Important Note: This role is not suitable for applicants with a 20-hour student visa work restriction or those requiring visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility support, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
  • Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Promote resident engagement by encouraging participation in activities and social interaction.
  • Monitor residents’ health and well-being, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Document care activities accurately and maintain clear communication with team members.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for residents and colleagues.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
