Job summary

A leading care home group in Lowestoft is seeking a Care Home Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure high-quality care for residents. The ideal candidate will maintain compliance with regulations, lead business development, and work with an enthusiastic team. Experience as an NMC registered nurse is desirable but not essential.

  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the care home to ensure high-quality care and support for residents.
  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation; work towards achieving Outstanding when possible.
  • Ensure occupancy targets are met and the home remains financially viable.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal teams, external professionals, families, and visitors.
  • Lead marketing and business development efforts within the private care sector to drive a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home.
  • Promote and develop high levels of person-centred care and participate in the growth and development of the care service.

As our Care Home Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the home. As a regulated business, we expect the candidate to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and be familiar with all the relevant legislation and regulations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the home provides high-quality care and support to our residents, whilst meeting financial targets and maintaining full occupancy.
