Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership and operational management of our dementia care services in Selby. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the service.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding standards, and organisational policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of individualised care plans.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate care staff to deliver excellence.
  • Contribute to staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement in dementia care practices.
Candidate Profile

Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care (Level 5 desirable).

Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience in dementia or older person care.
