Remarkable Jobs are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and genuinely caring homecare provider. Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking a Care Coordinator to join their close-knit team in Wokingham.

Care Coordinator Role:

As a Care Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring high-quality homecare delivery by managing care rotas and supporting a Rota Administrator. This is a rewarding, people-focused role within a company where staff loyalty is high and development is encouraged. The Care Coordinator position would suit someone looking to progress from a Rota Administrator or Senior Carer position—especially those with community care experience and rota management exposure.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily and weekly care rotas, ensuring full shift coverage
  • Supervise and support one direct report (Rota Administrator)
  • Liaise with carers and clients to ensure scheduling runs smoothly
  • Handle minor rota-related issues and adapt plans quickly when needed
  • Provide light phone-based on-call support (typically one weekend in four)
What They Are Looking For

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a rota/scheduling or coordination role
  • Must have worked in a domiciliary or community care setting (not live-in care)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong IT proficiency

Desirable:

  • Experience in care or healthcare settings
  • Supervisory experience
