Qualifications

  • Experience in rostering/scheduling within domiciliary care preferred.

We are looking for a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our team in Doncaster!

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage new service user referrals from social workers and private clients.
  • Allocate Care Workers to Service Users, ensuring effective rota planning and workload balance.
  • Answer and monitor incoming calls and provide support to care staff and supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of Service Users and Care Workers, including updates for hospital/respite stays.
  • Coordinate cover for holidays, sickness, and emergency calls.
  • Process weekly timesheets and payroll amendments.
  • Conduct reference checks and ensure DBS/safeguarding compliance before employment.
  • Support recruitment and training efforts in collaboration with the Branch Recruiter and Trainer.
  • Ensure office policies, procedures, and systems are followed.
  • Deliver care and participate in on-call duties when required.
The ideal Care Coordinator must have
  • Experience in rostering/scheduling within domiciliary care (preferred).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong logistical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of domiciliary care provision.
  • A QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Management or willingness to work towards it.
  • Hands‑on experience in domiciliary care delivery.
