Have the flexibility to choose the weekends YOU want to work! We’re currently seeking an experienced Care Assistant to cover weekend shifts at a care home in the Swanwick area of Alfreton. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, weekly paid hours while making a meaningful impact in a supportive care environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to residents during your shift, working closely with the existing team.
  • Provide personal care to both male and female residents.
  • Assist with mobility using equipment such as hoists, slings, and rotundas.
  • Serve meals, record basic information such as fluid intake, and complete domestic tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Up-to-date mandatory training
  • Full up-to-date CV with employment history
  • At least 2 years referenceable experience working within formal care settings
  • Ability to provide reference details for two previous care employers, including the most recent

This role offers ongoing part-time hours.

You will be working from 07:00 to 14:15 on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

You will be paid £12.21 per hour, increasing to £13.33 after 13 weeks.
