Job summary

Responsibilities

Your focus as Care Assistant is to deliver high standards of personal care, contribute to the care team, ensure continuity of services to residents, assist residents in personal hygiene, ensuring independence, dignity and respect, recognise clinical risk areas, act courteously towards residents and visitors, and practice safe systems of work.

  • Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalate identified risks promptly.
  • Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
  • Practising safe systems of work across tasks.
