We are currently looking to recruit a team of Support Workers to provide support for a 28‑year‑old female who lives in her own home. This young lady is diagnosed with Moderate learning difficulties, Autism, A.D.H.D. and Hypotonia.

The purpose of your role will be to enable her to live in her own home and continue to have independence.

This young lady requires a staff team of 8 people, both male and female, with 2 staff at all times covering 12‑hour shifts including nights. These shifts can be adjusted as needed.

She requires carers who have a positive, outgoing personality with a good sense of humour. Candidates should be fit and in good general health as she enjoys walking, swimming and trampolining. Her favourite activity is shopping, which can be overstimulating, so it occurs once or twice a week.

Experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

As part of a staff team, you must be comfortable working collaboratively, with others, and possess good communication skills.

Drivers preferred but not essential. She has a mobility car available for social and domestic use on her behalf.

A high standard of personal care is required in this role, and you will also need to carry out domestic duties within the household where required.

Hours – 2:1 support to cover 12‑hour shifts, including nights. Please state on your application the hours you are able to support. Hours will be discussed further at interview. Up to 42 hours per week available.
