Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will support people to live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes. You will provide care that is respectful, personal, and meaningful.

Responsibilities

• Personal care delivered with dignity and respect
• Mobility support
• Meal preparation
• Medication assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Companionship and emotional support
• Transporting clients to appointments and social activities
• Accurate care documentation and reporting

This is a female-only role due to personal care needs and preferences of our female clients, in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Role requirements

• Naturally caring, patient and compassionate
• Female applicants only (role requirement)
• Friendly, reliable and able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Experience in care is welcome but not essential
• Willing to complete background checks
• Full training will be provided
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS (within 6 months or on the update service) preferred

Compensation

• Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour (depending on experience/qualifications)
• Plus weekend enhancements, 32p per mile paid mileage and £5.00 travel time per hour
