Qualifications

  • Previous experience in care is an advantage but not necessary.

Your responsibilities as a Care Assistant:

  • Assisting customers' with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, bathing and toileting.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed linen.
  • Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, re-positioning and movement of customers.
  • Accompany customers to medical appointments, shopping trips etc.
  • Observe, monitor and record clients physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to the office.
  • Encourage customers to be independent.
