Choices Homecare are seeking compassionate Domiciliary Care Service Providers for our locations across the Sheffield region. About Choices Homecare We are seeking Care Service Providers who will embody our PRIDE values and want to be part of a team that truly makes a difference. Choices Homecare are proudly part of the Optimo Care Group that supports service users across the UK with over 1,500 dedicated employees and a strong presence across multiple regions. We collaborate closely with local authorities, healthcare providers, and care professionals to deliver outcome-focused care.

Working hours: A flexible approach is required for rotas which are operational 7 days a week between 06:00 - 22:00

Location: Sheffield

Key Responsibilities of a Care Service Provider
  • Supporting individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assisting with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where required.
  • Promoting independence and encouraging service users to engage in daily living tasks.
  • Building positive relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Supporting emotional well-being and recognising signs of distress or changes in behaviour.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home.
  • Respecting confidentiality and always maintaining professional boundaries.
What You’ll Need

  • Experience preferred but not essential - full training provided.
  • Driving licence and own vehicle essential (We pay 30p per mile fuel allowance).
  • Weekend availability (alternative weekends or 1 day per weekend).

To Note
  • UK Driving Licence holder with access to a vehicle and the ability to provide business insurance.
  • Located within 30mins of advertised locations based on urgency and provision of service to users.
