Job description

Please note that this is a full-time role working 33 hours per week, with full flexibility to cover both day and night shifts. Shifts are 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am.

Responsibilities

• Support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, hygiene and meals, and assist with daily activities in the home.
• Deliver care with compassion to ensure residents maintain their individuality and dignity.
• Support residents who have limited mobility, respond with comfort to distressed residents, and provide compassionate end-of-life care, prioritising wellbeing at all times.
• Recognise safeguarding concerns and understand how to act if there are signs of abuse, harm or neglect; attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training as required.
• Seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
