As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality personal care to residents, contributing to the close-knit care team. Responsibilities
  • Deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring the dignity, independence, and safety of residents.
  • Assist residents with their daily hygiene and personal care needs.
  • Recognise and escalate clinical risk areas in residents (weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infection) in a timely manner.
  • Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
  • Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
  • Contribute to continuity of services to residents as part of the care team.

About You / Requirements
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
  • Be an efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from other team members.
  • Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
  • Experience is not required as a thorough induction and training programme is provided to ensure confidence in the role.
Other Requirements
  • A DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
