Overview

We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support with activities such as creative arts, celebration of diverse calendar events throughout the year.
  • Support other activities such as gentle exercise, Bingo, games, booking of entertainment and outings.
  • Support with Personal Care and administer medication as required.
  • Encourage individuals to participate in daily living skills and activities.
Work Hours and Rota

The post is 20 hours per week on 4 days on 4 days off rolling rota: Mornings 7am to 12.30pm, Evenings 16.30 to 22.00pm. 30 minutes added to the 4th shift to ensure 20 hours: 7am to 13.00pm and 16.00pm to 22.00pm. The rota will include weekends and Bank Holidays where required.

Qualifications

At least 2 years’ experience working with individuals with a physical or mental health disability is essential. Experience and knowledge around how to support older people including with activities.
