A community healthcare organization in Gillingham seeks a dedicated healthcare assistant to support specialist nurses in diagnostics and cardiac rehabilitation. You'll work within a friendly team, conducting phlebotomy, carrying out diagnostic tests, and assisting in patient education. The small print
You will work across all cardiology teams, supporting current unregistered roles and carrying out phlebotomy for the services.
Once trained you will work unsupervised in some parts of your role which will include visiting patients in their homes and sometimes in clinics as well as in cardiac rehabilitation classes.
You will always have the support of senior staff when required.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
