About the Role

Our client, a successful and fast-paced main dealer in Reading, is looking for an ambitious and customer-focused Car Sales Executive to join their team. With a competitive basic salary, a realistic OTE of up to £65,000, and access to a wide range of stock, this role offers excellent earning potential and career progression.

The ideal candidate will be confident, target-driven, and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximising every sales opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Greet, assist, and guide customers through the car buying journey.
  • Deliver a tailored and professional sales process from enquiry to handover.
  • Proactively prospect and follow up with new and existing customers to generate sales.
  • Present finance, insurance, and add-on products compliantly to maximise profitability.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and training on brand and models.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Ensure all documentation and administration is completed accurately.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience in car sales within a dealership environment (main dealer experience advantageous).
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and driven to succeed.
  • Confident IT skills for CRM/DMS systems and online sales platforms.
  • Full UK driving licence.
