A leading NHS Trust in London is seeking a Cancer Tracker to support the cancer services team. This role involves tracking patient journeys, ensuring data accuracy, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential. The post holder will be a member of the Cancer Services team that is dedicated to supporting the streamlined pathway of cancer patients through the Trust. The main purpose of the Cancer Tracker role is to support plan and journeys of patients on a Cancer Pathway. The post holder will need to support the Trust in achieving performance against CWT guidance and ensure that all patients have clear next steps in place in line with CWT individual standards 28D, 31D and 62D.
The post holder will collect data from a variety of sources and update the Trust’s cancer database Somerset. The post holder will need excellent organisational and communication skills and a good attention for detail to be successful in the role.
