Job Title: CAD Designer - Curtain Wall & Aluminium Systems

Location: Dartford

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending on Experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join our team based in Dartford. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in curtain walling and aluminium façade systems (Ali systems) to contribute to high-profile construction and architectural projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for curtain walling, windows, doors, and aluminium systems.


• Work closely with project managers, architects, and fabrication teams to deliver precise and accurate design solutions.


• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop workable system solutions.


• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.


• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the design and production process.


• Maintain accurate records and drawing registers for all design work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer in the curtain walling and aluminium façade sector.


• Strong knowledge of Ali systems and curtain wall design principles.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or other 3D software is an advantage.


• Good understanding of construction processes and building regulations.


• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
