Overview

Job Title: Civil & Structural CAD Technician
Location: Manchester or Teesside, with the flexibility of remote working
Contract Type: 6 - 12 month contract

The Role

As a Civil & Structural CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality 2D and 3D design deliverables for major infrastructure and pipeline projects. You will work closely with engineers across civil and structural disciplines to ensure the successful execution of projects.

• Produce 2D/3D designs, technical drawings, and models for pipeline and infrastructure works.
• Coordinate design across disciplines using a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Participate in clash detection and construction sequencing (4D simulation).

About You

You may be a good fit if you are proficient in Aveva E3D, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Civil 3D, with a strong background in designing below-ground infrastructure, foundations, steelwork, and reinforced concrete.

Qualifications / Experience

• Qualified to City & Guilds or HNC/HND level.
• EngTech or IEng ICE professional qualification is an advantage.
• Experience with 4D simulation, construction sequencing, and clash detection software is beneficial.
