Overview

Cad Designer - Navenby - 40,000/45,000

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a CAD Design Engineer with immediate effect for our market leading client based close to Navenby, in Lincolnshire.

Job purpose

Strengthen the Engineering function, providing technical support, guidance, and documentation to the following departments: Sales, Projects, Reactive, Manufacturing and Quality.

Main duties

• To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.
• Computer Aided Design (CAD) capability to:
• Support the development of product within the company portfolio.
• Bespoke solutions to satisfy customer needs.
• Sales support - Integrating current product to customer site specific needs.
• Documentation of what good looks like
• Assembly and SOP information
• Report on project progress in an appropriate way/to an appropriate level using the company database.
• Responsible for organising and maintaining documentation and technical files.
• Become familiar with the relevant standards and legislation to help ensure projects and product solutions comply.
• Take ownership of and assist the factory with any machine builds that have had significant input from engineering.
• Build and expand on training material and standard operating procedures to up skill the engineering workforce.
• Support engineers on site with “out of the ordinary” challenges.
• Any other duties as required.

Qualifications / Skills

To be a success in this role you will need strong CAD and Project Management skills, along with a good understanding of Control Systems.
